We are seeking a Slack Security Expert to secure and optimize our Slack environment. The SME will oversee security configurations, integrations, and compliance, ensuring our Slack workspace is safe, efficient, and aligned with organizational security policies..

Key Responsibilities

Security Management: Develop and implement Slack security strategies, including configuration of SSO, 2FA, and DLP tools.
Administration: Manage user roles, permissions, and integrations while maintaining secure workspace settings.
Incident Response: Investigate and address security incidents related to Slack.
Integration Oversight: Evaluate and approve third-party app integrations for compliance and risk.
Training and Awareness: Provide security training for Slack users and promote safe usage practices.
Compliance and Audits: Ensure Slack aligns with standards like GDPR or HIPAA and conduct regular security audits.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Slack’s security features and proactively enhance policies.
