Job Description

As the Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage the security architecture of our AWS and Azure cloud environments. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust security measures, compliance with industry standards, and the integration of security best practices into all cloud-related processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive security architectures for AWS and Azure cloud environments.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Continuously monitor cloud environments for security threats, utilizing advanced security tools and technologies to detect and respond to incidents.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and IT teams to integrate security best practices seamlessly into DevOps processes and lifecycle management.
  • Lead incident response efforts, including the development and execution of incident response plans, ensuring swift resolution and post-incident analysis to prevent future occurrences.
  • Implement and manage security policies, procedures, and controls to protect sensitive data and cloud resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, technologies, and threats, and provide recommendations for improvements and innovations.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure the effectiveness of security measures and compliance with relevant standards.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years focused on cloud security.
  • Extensive experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in cloud security technologies and tools.
  • Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, encryption, and identity management in cloud environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • US-based with eligibility to work remotely.
