As an F5 Engineer - App Migration Specialist, you will have a crucial role in facilitating the smooth and seamless migration of applications to F5's platform. Working closely with development and operations teams, you will ensure a successful transition while maintaining the integrity and performance of the applications.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to copy/paste abilities and URL rewrites.
• Contribute and engineer the F5 Local and Global Traffic Manager, Access Policy Manager (APM) Application Security Manger modules.
• Design, configure, and deploy access policies using F5's Access Policy Manager (APM)
• Implement and troubleshoot access policies for various applications and user groups
• Collaborate with Architects on solutions addressing application delivery, integration, design migration, and access control needs.
• Streamline existing processes and create additional security controls to enhance application migration.
• Schedule and participate in client meetings for Q/A of the existing environment.
• Configure and deploy F5 load balancers, proxies, and other related technologies.
• Perform application migration, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Facilitate the deployment process and ensure a smooth cutover to the new F5 devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application delivery and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance and security.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge and experience with SAP Hanna, Automated Review System (ARS), Team Center Active Workspace, SAP Qnotes, SAP Rocket Forge, and Parameter Signal Measurement (PSM).
• Proven experience in designing and implementing access policies using F5's Access Policy Manager (APM)
• Proven experience as an F5 Engineer with expertise in LTM and GTM.
• In-depth knowledge of FIPS configuration and key management.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and security configurations.
• In-depth knowledge of F5 load balancers, proxies, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with application delivery, performance tuning, and security.
