As the Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage the security architecture of our AWS and Azure cloud environments. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust security measures, compliance with industry standards, and the integration of security best practices into all cloud-related processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive security architectures for AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Continuously monitor cloud environments for security threats, utilizing advanced security tools and technologies to detect and respond to incidents.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and IT teams to integrate security best practices seamlessly into DevOps processes and lifecycle management.
- Lead incident response efforts, including the development and execution of incident response plans, ensuring swift resolution and post-incident analysis to prevent future occurrences.
- Implement and manage security policies, procedures, and controls to protect sensitive data and cloud resources.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, technologies, and threats, and provide recommendations for improvements and innovations.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure the effectiveness of security measures and compliance with relevant standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years focused on cloud security.
- Extensive experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in cloud security technologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, encryption, and identity management in cloud environments.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- US-based with eligibility to work remotely.
