We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated L1 Help Desk / Field Service Engineer to join our team in Manhattan, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle ticketing and triage processes, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of user requests and technical issues.
  • Utilize Azure AD to manage user accounts, access permissions, and security settings.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for Office 365 applications, ranging from basic to mid-level issues.
  • Demonstrate PC build capability, including hardware and software installation, configuration, and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with a larger team, working both independently and remotely, to deliver exceptional customer service and technical support.
  • Display high business acumen and professionalism when interacting with end-users and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a corporate IT support position, with proven experience in ticketing and triage processes.
  • Knowledge of and experience with routers, switches, network connections and devices.
  • Detail-oriented, communicate technical knowledge and solutions to non-technical personnel.
  • Proactive about improving processes, where they exist, suggesting new processes when needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • This is an on-site position located in Manhattan, New York City.
